Announcing its fall schedule late Tuesday afternoon in New York, the CW confirmed that it’s picked up the next-generation take on Beverly Hills, 90210, efficiently titled 90210. Jennie Garth returns as Kelly (in a recurring role), with cameos by other members of the original cast planned. But mainly, this is the story of the young folks (34 is old for a CW target viewer). Dustin Milligan, Jessica Stroup, Shenae Grimes, Tristan Wilds, Ryan Eggold, AnnaLynne McCord and Michael Steger, plus Lori Loughlin and Jessica Walter, make up the regular cast. Here is the first promo pic. The show will air on Tuesdays. By the way AnnaLynne went to some new events, I will add the pictures when I have time. Work is keeping me busy right now.

BIG news! AnnaLynne McCord has signed on to the new Beverly Hills 90210 spin-off (airing this fall for the CW). She will play Naomi, a hot, rich, and popular Beverly Hills high schooler taking the "Kelly-type" popular girl role originally played by Jennie Garth. No word if Jennie Garth has anything to say about it. Rumour has it that Garth has bailed on the CBS pilot for My Best Friend's Girl to make herself available to revive the character as an adult teacher. Canadian Kristin Booth (MVP) is apparently inheriting Garth's abandoned Best Friend role. Congrats to AnnaLynne for this big oppertunity!

AnnaLynne has joined the film Fired Up.

Finally, there's more talent signing on to the Patrick Swayze comedy Fired Up, which focuses on two guys who sign up for cheerleader's camp to pick up girls -- AnnaLynne McCord (Nip/Tuck) and Jake Sandvig (Sky High). There is no word on McCord's character (although I bet it would be safe to assume that she'll be a cheerleader), while Sandvig will play some dude named Downey. A-W-E-S-O-M-E. (I really hope this is good, for Swayze's sake.)
AnnaLynne goes back to filming Nip/Tuck in April.
